FAQ

Common questions about curtain sizing.

Q. What is fullness, and which option should I choose?

Light is a neat look; Standard creates balanced folds; Full makes deeper folds.

  • Light (×1.2)
  • Standard (×1.5)
  • Full (×2.0)
Q. Should curtain length equal window height?

Curtain width = window width × fullness. Reference length = window height. For a different finished drop, measure the actual hanging distance. Hem, header, floor clearance and shrinkage are not included.

Q. Is the width for one panel or all panels?

Measure the window accurately. The width shown is combined flat fabric width, not the width of each panel.

Q. Can I use inches?

Yes. Choose cm or in separately for width and height. One inch equals exactly 2.54 cm.

Q. Are hems and shrinkage included?

For a different finished drop, measure the actual hanging distance. Hem, header, floor clearance and shrinkage are not included.

Q. Does this work for blackout and sheer curtains?

Yes. The formula does not depend on opacity; choose the fullness that suits the fabric and check the product specifications.

Q. How should I use this for ready-made panels?

Compare the calculated total flat width with the combined listed widths of all panels. Check each panel size, overlap and mounting details before buying.
